Genie Access Railer

The Genie Z60/34 (227kg) AccessRailer has a working height of 20 metres and an outreach of 10 metres. The 1.8 m by 0.7 m wide platform can carry two people plus tools and has a capacity of 227 kg.

The Genie Z60/34 (300kg) AccessRailer has a working height of 11.8 metres and an outreach of 11.35 metres – 9 metres at full height. The 1.8 m by 0.7 m wide platform can carry two people plus tools and has a capacity of 300 kg.

The Genie Access Railer can be travelled and controlled from the basket. The on-rail speed with the basket stowed is 14 mph and 2.3 when in use, i.e. when the basket is elevated. The machine can tow up to 500 kg and Rexquote have developed a special lightweight two wheeled trailer uniquely designed to work with the Genie making it even more versatile.

Safety features include an Emergency Descent System, emergency stop, tilt alarm and automatic basket levelling.

The machine is CE marked and has been independently tested and approved to EN280. It is fully compliant with RIS1530 PLT.

Access Railer 17

The Access Railer 17 combines a Niftylift 17 metre access platform and a Roadrailed Terex all-wheel steer dumper chassis. It is uniquely designed to provide access to elevated structures for the purposes of construction, maintenance and repair. The Terex all-wheel steer chassis allows ease of on and off tracking; the crab steer function is especially useful when the approach is confined.

It has been independently tested and approved to EN280 by RWTUV.

The machine is filled with biodegradable oil and has soft foam-fill tyres.

Mecalac Access

The Mecalac Access is unrivalled in terms of versatility. It has no tailswing so is 100% operational in narrow configuration. The Mecalac is already well known for its manoeuvrability which has made it an industry favourite and this machine, uniquely designed to operate in the railway environment, provides both access to elevated structures for the purposes of repair, maintenance and construction and with the basket removed can perform lifting and digging operations. The Mecalac Access has huge flexibility and is every bit as powerful as the standard Roadrailer.

The 1.8 metre platform has a capacity of 225 kg and can lift two people and their tools safely to a working height of 6.6 metres with an outreach of 7.5 metres. Full control of the machine from the platform is possible from the console in the basket.

With safety and ease of use in mind the Mecalac Access has been designed to the high standards demanded by EN280. It is also T.U.V approved.
